Istanbulie is a halal Turkish-Kurdish kebab shop on Union Street, the short cross-street that links Nethergate to the Overgate Centre side of the central grid. It's the current trading name on a site that has hosted several kebab brands over the years, with the older Zorbas name as the previous occupant. The shop trades a long evening shift to catch the post-pub Union Street and Nethergate flow, extending into the small hours at weekends.
