The Steeple Fish Bar

The Steeple Fish Bar trades from the Campfield Square parade in eastern Broughty Ferry, the small local-shop hub tucked behind Queen Street and named after the nearby church steeple that anchors the square. It is a busy chippy-plus operation — alongside the standard fish supper and chip-shop menu, the kitchen runs a stacked-burger range with a Tex-Mex burger as one of the signature builds, and a chicken/burger fast-food side that gives it a broader catchment than a single-line traditional chippy. The shop trades sit-in counter, collection and delivery, with delivery running across Broughty Ferry, the eastern Dundee suburbs and out as far as Carnoustie. Reviews routinely call out portion size and the burgers as the things that mark it apart from the more traditional chippies further into the Ferry. It shares the small Campfield Square parade with Campfield Chinese and a handful of other local-trade shops, and pulls its trade primarily from the dense residential streets either side of Queen Street.
