Masala Dosa Takeaway Menu

Almost every curry here arrives with a heat decision attached — chicken, mutton, fish, prawn, king prawn and squid each appear twice on the list, once mild and once hot, so the same dish can suit two very different palates at one table. The Sri Lankan section is where the kitchen shows its hand: kotthu chopped in eight versions running from vegetable and egg through mutton, prawn, squid and seafood to a cheese kotthu, alongside pittu, string hoppers and both plain and egg hoppers. A separate devilled list applies the same treatment to chana, potato, mutton, chicken, king prawn and squid. The dosas the shop is named for are all present — masala, onion, egg, plain and a crisp ghee paper version, with idly beside them — but they share space with mutton rolls, masala vada, bonda, daal vada and egg roti among the starters, and with pineapple and aubergine curries on the vegetarian side.
