Caspers is one of the longer-running Italian-leaning pizza restaurants in central Grimsby, occupying a pair of knocked-through units on Victoria Street West a short walk from the Top Town shopping centre and the Old Market Place. The room itself is set up as a sit-down family restaurant rather than a counter takeaway, with table service, a long-standing bring-your-own-alcohol policy that has helped it pull a steady local following, and a delivery operation that also runs through Uber Eats and Just Eat alongside its own collection trade.

The menu sits firmly in the British-Italian tradition — stone-baked pizzas in two sizes, a long pasta list, plus the now-expected garlic breads, calzones and a handful of grills and chicken dishes for diners who want something other than pizza. Set-menu deals appear regularly, which is part of why the place is reviewed so often as a value option rather than a destination Italian. Caspers came under new ownership in late 2023, since which the room has been tidied up and the menu trimmed back. Trading hours run early evening through to late, seven nights a week, with the kitchen geared as much around delivery as the dining room.
