Sams Chicken

Sam's Chicken at Wealdstone is the original branch of what has grown into a chain of more than fifty outlets across the UK. Sri Lankan founder Sam Chandrasinghe opened this first site on the High Street in 1990 after a career at KFC, using his own blend of spices to create a distinctively crispy fried chicken. The Wealdstone shop is where the brand was born, and that founding story remains central to its identity. The menu covers fried chicken, burgers, wings and meal boxes, with halal certification throughout. The High Street location benefits from strong footfall from Harrow and Wealdstone station and remains one of the busiest outlets in the estate. As the founding branch, it carries an authenticity that later franchise outlets cannot replicate.
