Gurkha Valley brings authentic Nepalese cooking to Harrow Road, a little off the main Wembley High Road circuit, and has built a strong reputation as a result. The kitchen is led by a Nepalese chef with over thirty years of experience, and the menu spans Himalayan specialities alongside more familiar Indian and Pakistani dishes — reflecting the layered culinary traditions of the Nepal-India border. Chicken tikka, lamb curry and chilli prawns appear most frequently in positive reviews, but the Nepalese-specific dishes — momo, dal bhat and Himalayan-spiced curries — are the reasons food explorers make the journey. Fully licensed and air-conditioned, it is one of the few Nepalese restaurants in this part of north-west London and TripAdvisor has ranked it in the top ten restaurants in Wembley. Closed Mondays.
