Welcome Chop Suey House is the sole Chinese takeaway in Wylam, a small village on the south bank of the Tyne. The menu follows traditional British-Chinese lines with chop suey dishes, curry sauces and the usual rice and noodle staples. For a village of Wylam's size, having a local Chinese option within walking distance is appreciated by residents who would otherwise face a drive into Prudhoe or Ryton.
